There are some excellent tools available to aid in the task of evaluating your Web pages for accessibility. While no software can do the whole job, automated checkers can flag both obvious errors and areas of potential concern, where human judgment is key. Since there is great interest in attending Dr. David Weinberger’s talk, “Everything is Miscellaneous” on December 7, the Webmasters meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday, December 14, Hanes 308. The topic for the meeting remains the same; Nuno Gomes will showcase the new Webmasters site design and present on WordPress, the CMS application that will manage the content for the site. The date change is posted on the Webmasters Wiki.
The next Webmasters meeting will follow the regular schedule and take place on January 11, 2007.
