Camp 5 and the BBQ Sprint: Zope 3 for Plone 3 Boot Camp Coming To Campus

The UNC Zope and Python Users Group, in conjunction with the Triangle Zope and Python Users Group, has opened registration forCamp 5 and the BBQ Sprint, a four day Zope 3 training followed by a four day Zope 3 and Plone 3 programming sprint, March 10-17 in 2001 Kerr Hall.

The training will be conducted by Philipp von Weitershausen, author of Web Component Development with Zope 3 (second edition to be released by Springer on February 3). Philipp is a noted Zope 3 expert and presenter, founding member of the Zope Foundation, and a primary contributor to Z3ECM (Enterprise Content Management with Zope 3).

The sprint, which covers a range of topics such as groupware and the upcoming Plone 3 release testing, will be conducted by several distinguished Zope and Plone core developers including Tres Seaver (Zope Content Management Framework author), Chris McDonough (Zope Object Database developers), Whit Morriss (Plone Architecture Team), Alec Mitchell (Plone Release Manager), Ian Bicking (Paste author), Rob Miller (Remember author), and Calvin Hendryx-Parker (Plone Architecture Team).

Early bird registration is available through February 14 while registration closes March 2. A registration fee discount is offered to university employees. More details are available at:
